1977 Yamaha XS

Up for sale is a 1977 Yamaha XS650 Motorcycle. Frame and engine numbers match. Built in 1/77. 14,332 Miles.

It does not run.
Last on the road 2007.
The Motor turns over
with compression
. It does shift through the gears
. Clutch pulls in fine. Original paint. The front brake does not work. The rear brake works as it should. The machine Rolls fine. The frame does not look to have any cuts. Side covers have no dents. Gas tank has a slight ding on the left side. Gas tank shows rust inside but is solid. Paint is very nice. Seat has a few rips on the seam, foam is plush.Engine cases and fins look to have no damage. Chrome overall shows some light rust/ pitting. The left muffler has a small hole along with rust bubbling towards the back (see picture). Right muffler is solid.
