Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this nice driver condition Triumph Spitfire MK4 finished in it's original color of Pageant Blue. This car was just purchased from another dealer in Kentucky. It's an attractive car that runs and drives well.
The bodywork and paint on this car are very good. Panel gapping appears normal for a Spitfire. Paintwork is very nice and glossy but is showing a few light scratches/chips from normal use. There is a light scrape that could use repair on the LH front fender. Chromework is good original items. The windshield is very good with a soft sealing rubber. PLEASE SEE WALK AROUND VIDEO.
The car's interior panel kit looks original. A dash cap has been fitted above a very original-looking dashboard assembly. Seats have been nicely reupholstered in correct kits along with a newer carpet set. The removable factory hardtop is a nice addition and gives the car a competition look. The original soft top frame is provided if one chooses to install it and fit a new soft top.
Mechanically, the car feels very healthy going down the road with it's strong 1500cc engine breathing through it's upgraded Weber carb and sports exhaust header set. The car starts, runs, drives, stops, steers fine with confidence and is lots of fun out on the road. Tires look newer fitted to a restored wheel set with polished beauty rims. PLEASE SEE DRIVING VIDEO. The engine bay is clean and painted in the correct body color. The bonnet looks to be in great shape.
Overall, an attractive and good driving Spitfire 1500 MK4 with the bonus of a factory hardtop. This car is good value and is ready to provide some summer fun out on the road.

: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's checks we will hold all titles until funds have cleared.
