    Framed poster from the 1986 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, promoting
    the 36th annual event, August 24, 1986.
    1986 was the first year that the Concours included an exhibition by the Automotive Fine Arts Society, a show that would become a staple of the event. Fittingly, Ken Eberts, a founding AFAS member, created the poster for the 1986 Concours. Ebert's art focused on a dramatic and detailed depiction of a Mercedes 540K, with silhouetted pine trees and the Pebble Beach fairways and Stillwater Cove in the background.
