Brand new, never hung, promotional poster for the 2012 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, held August 17-19 at Laguna Seca. In addition to the usual slate of competitive vintage races, the event celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Shelby Cobra.
The poster features artist Bill Patterson's striking image of a Shelby Cobra in action—a fitting tribute both to the late Carroll Shelby and to the 50th anniversary celebration that was the highlight of the 2012 event.
The Cobra quickly established itself as the dominant American competitor in international sports car racing, winning the World Sports Car Championship in 1965 against long-established European competition.
Printed on heavy matte-finish stock, the poster measures 11" x 17" (28cm x 44cm). Brand new. Will ship flat.
