  • Condition: Excellent estate found condition. Glasses do have an area on the handle where the mother of pearl has cracked but is still present. Small area on one of the monocle mother of pearl where it is cracked but still present. I did not see any areas of pearl loss. One of the side of the lens frame was dropped at some point in its history and has a very small area that is missing the frame and is white surface staining-- please see photos very minor imperfection but still present. There is some sticker residue on one of the monocles mother of pearl ares--could easily be removed by new owner I am selling as is. They are marked La Vouge Paris on lens frame.

    Description

    Beautiful pair of mother of pearl telescoping opera glasses with handle, made by La Vouge Paris. These are really pretty with a dark purple/black hew to them. The handle comes apart, and internal metal rod comes out and can be screwed and reconfigured to telescope--does take a few attempts if you are not familiar with them. These would make a great statement piece to your collection. Lens dials to zoom turn smoothly.
    Measures: Handle fully extended with telescope 8.5" With Handle not extended 4.5" Binoculars are 4" across.
