This Brass Sconce has a clear glass shade and will illuminate with a simple on off switch at the base. It operates with a common cell battery and LED bulbs that cast a soft glow, perfect when subtle lighting is preferred to a brighter illumination. The battery is very easy to replace by unscrewing the base and replacing with the extra one included. Please note that the bulb is not replaceable and is expected to last approx. 5000 hours. This would be a nice cordless option on it's own or in addition to an electrified dollhouse or roombox and includes suggested mounting instructions.
