Description
Original large blueprint in poster format created by Carrozzeria or Officine Padane, a Modena Italy -based coachbuilder, founded by Antonio Vismara in 1943, which primarily focused on designing bodies for Italian and European passenger buses. In the 1960s, Officine Padane branched out and began building car bodies, including those for the Maserati Indy, Maserati Bora, Maserati Mistral - and, the Stutz Blackhawk, among others. Though founded in 1943 during the Second World War, the company did not ramp up operations until the end of the 1940s, thus this blueprint, dated 1948, is surely represents one of their earliest designs. The design retains serious styling cues from the 1930s art deco era. This original 1:20 scale blueprint poster shows a modern streamlined art deco body design for a FIAT 666 RN Interurbano bus chassis, dated 1948. “Officine Vismara S.P.S -Carrozzeria Padana Modena – FIAT 666 RN Interurbano”
Format: 48 x 107cm or approx 19 x 42 inches.
