General Instrument DSR-4800 digital satellite receivers are integrated receiver/decoders (IRD) designed for broadcast networks, cable systems and other commercial satellite operations. The General Instrument DSR-4800 MPEG-2 SDTV 4:2:2 digital satellite receiver receives both HD and SD signals. Both HD and SD streams are reprocessed to the Digital Video Broadcast Asynchronous Serial Interface format at 270 Mbps. The ASI signal is output through a BNC connector. SD transport streams can be processed at 4:2:2 P/ML and 4:2:0 MP/ML decompression. The unit receives QPSK modulated signals at L-band frequencies of 950 to 2150 MHz through one of four input ports. The DSR-4800 Series DSR-4800 Operating Manual 4 The DSR-4800 performs demodulation and FEC decoding of all standard DigiCipher II symbol and convolutional coding rates, at information rates up to 40.46 Mbps. It also performs demodulation and FEC decoding of all standard DVB convolutional coding rates, at information rates of 3.25–45 Msps. Within the resulting transport stream, a single DigiCipher II service designated by the user can be decrypted. The DSR-4800 will automatically tune to of four L-band inputs based on the Virtual Channel Tables sent from the UCS. The unit will use the Virtual Channel Tables for tuning between services.

    Ebay's About Me page
The following pertains to our listing terms and conditions. Please read so there is no surprises as to the total cost of your item or any of our polices:
    Q. How much will I owe for sales tax?
    A. If you are not in California, and have no business presence/nexus in California, no sales tax will be added. If you are California resident, 9.5% sales tax will automatically be added by the ebay system. This is the highest conceivable district tax rate. If your actual rate is less than this, it will be adjusted accordingly in your invoice before payment. If you've already paid, any overpayment will be refunded. The following is tax rates that California residents will be responsible for:
    1) If you're in CA and have valid reseller's permit (and fill out reseller certificate): 0%
    2) If you're in CA and using the equipment: 5% off your normal district tax rate via teleproduction partial exemption. You must fill out tax form 6378 to receive the sales tax discount. The equipment, and the nature of your business, must be predominantly related to post-production. EX: Your rate would be 4.5% if I delivered to Los Angeles county (which is normally 9.5%).
    3) If you're in CA and don't qualify for the teleproduction partial exemption (i.e. you are a corporate user, hobbyist, rental company, this is predominantly production equipment, etc): must pay full district rate of the specific county item is delivered to or picked up from.

    Q. What kind of warranty is offered?
    A. All items include a 30 day warranty from date of delivery. Domestic returns are free unless the buyer causes the item to arrive back in worse condition than it was received (abuse, damage, tampering, modification, removal/replacement of parts, significant usage added, etc). We reserve right to issue a partial refund in the above “buyer fault” scenarios corresponding to the severity of the issue. Return shipping cost is paid by seller for domestic returns. International returns are for item not as described only and cost paid by buyer. A partial refund, replacement, or repair is possible as alternative to return, at the agreement of both parties. Item must be returned packaged well in the same manner sent so it arrives back safely. Refund issued by same method as payment. A free copy of our full warranty terms/conditions can be obtained upon request.
    Q. What happens if the gear arrives with shipping damage?
    A. The Broadcast Baron takes meticulous care in packaging the items it ships and each item will be fully insured. However, in the unlikely event that shipping damage or loss does occur, you will not be held financially responsible.  Regardless of whether the shipping company eventually pays us or not on the insurance claim, we honor the 30 day warranty. We would only ask that you fully cooperate with the insurance claim and save all the original packaging.
    Q. Do you sell to international buyers?
    A. Yes, but not every item we sell can ship to every country. Please look at ebay's shipping and handling section (below the auction) to see which countries each particular item can be shipped to.
    Q. How much is domestic shipping?
    A. For most items, free shipping (including insurance) via FEDEX ground or USPS priority is included in the purchase price to any of the 48 states. Please take note if a particular item specifies free shipping or not. If you need anything faster, you will be responsible for the additional cost. Feel free to contact us for an express service shipping quote. Express shipping can also be billed to your own UPS/FEDEX/DHL account if you prefer.
    Q. How much is international shipping (including Alaska and Hawaii)?
    A. Buyer is responsible for actual shipping costs. Default shipping method to international locations is USPS express. Please use the USPS shipping calculator or contact us to get a shipping quote. USPS has different dimensional restrictions for different countries. It may turn out that your item, once packaged, is too large to use USPS service. Also, some items are too valuable to be able to be fully insured by USPS (also this varies by country). If this is the case, you will be given the option to use FEDEX instead and given an appropriate quote for FEDEX international costs. International shipping prices vary greatly depending on your location. Please contact us before bidding for a precise shipping quote and confirmation that the item meets the size/value requirements to go USPS. Please note that any customs charges, taxes, or duties levied by your country is your responsibility.
