    Description

Dr. Pepper is one of the oldest soda makers in the U.S. One of the biggest ever ad campaigns was Dr. Pepper's clock ad. In the 30's, a study was done about the American worker.  At 10, 2, and 4, energy levels went down. So, the ad people came up with the phrase, "Drink something to eat at 10, 2 and 4".
This bottle is a clear green glass debossed bottle. It features "Dr Pepper" embossed on the face, and the break time clock on the backside.
The clock and the name was first embossed on the bottle, but the exec's figured out that the letters were wearing down with case and bottle machine wear.  So they later started the process of "
debossing" the bottles.  In these bottles, the name would be depressed inside the bottle, as is this one.
This bottle is rarer than the ACL bottle with the colored label attached. It is 8 1/8" tall and 6 oz. in capacity.
This bottle was made by the Owens-Corning Duraglas Glass Works, and the bottle is dated 1955.
The bottle is beautiful.  It is clean, and clear, little signs of use, and no chips or cracks.
