Rubens Baby Girl Ceramic Planter Japan Infant Bootie or shoe Pink Gift.  This planter would make an excellent baby gift for the expecting parents of a baby girl.  It would look great in a nursery.  It was produced in Japan, and is marked with the green wreath type logo of Rubens Ceramics.  Probably middle 1950s to 1960s.  The child is sitting next to a large pink and white bootie.  The ceramic is in good condition not chips or cracks that I can find.  One little pointy spot on the back that feels sharp to the feel, in the crease by the part of the bootie that moves up by the back of the baby.  Extra ceramic that wasn't cleaned off before firing.  The child has a cute expression on her face, and tiny pink flowers on her sleeper.  A nice bow shape on the bootie as would be on a crocheted item it is depicting.  I am showing a picture of this with a blue one that I am also listing, but this auction is for the pink one.  See pictures and email questions.  the bottom of the bootie is dry, not glazed, the rest is nicely glazed.  So it shows a bit of slide marks from being moved on shelves.  Shipping will be priority mail, price to be determined by location, U.S.A. only.  Flat rate .00 to the buyer.
